As part of the week-long Earth Day events, Fairfield’s Student Environmental Association collected worn and tired sneakers from members of the University community. The athletic shoes will be transformed into environmentally-playgound surfacing and equipment.
On Saturday, several students gathered to fill up bags of trash from the Fairfield Beach area in SEA’s annual Beach Clean-Up.
