Shakespeare Ventures kicks off its second summer season with “Twelfth Night,” Shakespeare’s delightful comedy of disguises, mistaken identity, mischief and mix-ups.

Nicole Monica plays Viola, a young woman separated from her twin brother during a shipwreck, who must disguise herself as a man and woo the beautiful Olivia, played by Sarah Milici, for her master Orsino, played by Joby Earle. The play’s setting is light, airy and tropical.

“Twelfth Night” will be presented at the PepsiCo Theatre on the campus of Fairfield University on Round Hill Road. It runs on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. from August 4th through August 19th. The theatre is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible. Sarah MiliciMs. Milici is a member of the Bloomsburg Theatre ensemble and was honored by Show Business Weekly as “Best Newcomer to the Stage.” Though she currently makes her home in Philadelphia, she is originally from Fairfield, where she attended Fairfield High, later going on to graduate from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She is excited to return to her hometown to perform with Shakespeare Ventures, a professional theatre company now in its second season of production.

Ms. Monica’s credits include Fox TV’s “Point Pleasant,” UPN’s “Veronica Mars,” and “Little Black Book,” a Sony feature film. Her stage credits include “Nobody” and “Private Fittings” at the La Jolla Playhouse. Other cast members include Bradley Staubes, recently seen in “The Legend of the Pearl Hart” in Times Square, and Paul Doniger, a founding member of the Classic Stage Repertory Theatre of Manhattan.

“Twelfth Night” is directed by Lynne Porter, currently the Director of the Fairfield University Theatre Program. Ms. Porter’s professional credits include Harrisburg Shakespeare, The Arden Theatre, Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre, Maine Shakespeare and Oregon Shakespeare. Shakespeare Ventures is a member of the Shakespeare Theatre Association of America and the Fairfield Arts Council.
