Preserving a senior tradition

Unlike last year, the buses to the 100 nights celebratory event did not get stuck under any bridges, even though the harsh weather conditions were an annoyance. Fairfield had its biggest snowfall of the year Saturday night, but students did not let the weather affect their 100 nights celebration.

Sarah Jessica Parker, fuzzy gloves and explicit scenes

I had never watched an episode of "Sex and the City" prior to the viewing you're about to re-live. I do, however, have a major bias because I've been able to catch a few minutes here and there, and the show seems absolutely ridiculous to me. In a New Year's pursuit of trying to get rid of all my unfounded biases, I've decided to watch, roughly, a full hour of "Sex and the City.

A day in the life of von Arx

Kiss my Ash goodbye: FU can’t keep us from sex

I would like to note that this column is not meant to place blame on Fairfield University or its Catholic tradition. Ironically enough for a school located in Connecticut, there don't seem to be an overwhelming number of non-commuter students who actually come from the state.

Giving it up: life without AIM

by Dan Shannon It all started in late July when I was at Fenway Park watching the Red Sox take on the Orioles. Trade talks involving Nomar were lurking, and everyone in the park appeared to be concerned that he was on his way out. In the third inning, Nomar went deep into the hole and made a great play; the Fenway faithful were on their feet and I couldn't help but think, "I wonder what his away message is.

Volleyball upset in MAAC tournament finals

by Dan Shannon While the Stag's entered the MAAC tournament as the top seed last Sunday in Loudonville, N.Y., they were swept 3-0 by Iona in the championship round. Fairfield began their season knowing that they had a young team, however, they believed they had a great opportunity to learn from each other and compete for a MAAC title.

Hey!, Aren’t you that guy from…

by Dan Shannon Fairfield has an illustrious student body filled with gorgeous people. Some are actual celebrities (what ever happened to that guy from "7th Heaven" and Bill Murray's son?) and some look like celebrities. For the sake of convenience, let's focus on the celebrity look-alikes for now.
