Amid some controversy, FUSA Senators win Senate raffle

by Jess Mitchell Last week, FUSA held a raffle in which two free passes for parking anywhere on campus for February were given away. Coincidently, two FUSA senators won the parking passes fair and square in the raffle. A total of 78 raffle tickets were sold at $2 a piece and all proceeds were donated to the Special Olympics.

Drug dealer pleads guilty

by Elizabeth Cooper and Jessica Mitchell The man accused of selling marijuana to a Fairfield student in February 2004 pleaded guilty to the drug charge on Feb. 5, according to The Connecticut Post. The case was set to go to the Superior Court when the accused, John Delabrena, 21, made his plea under the Alford Doctrine.

Featuring New York City's premiere saxophone quartet, Sax in the City, the stage of the Quick Center radiated energy and excitement, yet left traditional Holiday spirit behind.
