Waiting for Mike’s

by Meredith Clinton Mike's Pizza was supposed to open at the Levee two weeks ago, but eager students have had to do without. "I thought it was definitely supposed to be open," said Katie Finn '05. "It would be nice if it were open." The pizza place has been delayed opening at the Levee but the plans are still in the works amidst several unforeseen problems.

Crash claims 2003 grad

Julia A. Hunter, a graduate of Fairfield's Class of 2003, was killed in car accident last Friday on the Merritt Parkway. According to Connecticut State Police, the driver of the car, Hunter's former roommate here at Fairfield, lost control of the 1993 Mazda near exit 40B in Norwalk.

Fairfield Prep construction to cost $10 million

by Meredith Clinton A ten million dollar construction project is underway to build a connector between the two Fairfield Prep school buildings. The construction, once complete, will link Xavier Hall and Berchmans Hall and should reap benefits for both prep and university students.

More changes for Res-Life: Three more RAs resign

by Meredith Clinton During winter break, three more RAs resigned from their positions in the Residence Life department for undisclosed personal reasons. Despite the disciplinary dismissals of three other RAs earlier last semester, Laura Cantrell, associate director of residence life, said that the new resignations had nothing to do with the department.
