On Wednesday night, the Stags fell to the Boston College Eagles 75-52 in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Devin Johnson led the Stags in scoring with eight points followed by Mike Van Schaick with seven. Though the Stags were not favored in the contest, there are certain trends that continue to keep the Stags from the next level. The overall shooting continues to be inconsistent, though they shot 43% tonight in field goals. They are also still searching for a three point shooter, going 21% from three point range. The Stags also have to take advantage of free throw opportunities. Tonight, Fairfield made 4-10 from the free throw line for 40%. Jared Dudley led the scoring for B.C. with 20 followed by Sean Williams with 16. Fairfield will return to the Arena on Friday against Manhattan.
