The Dolan School of Business recently received one of the New York Stock Exchange's original trading posts as a gift from Christopher Quick, valued at $200,000. The gift was to commemorate 30th anniversary of the School of Business at Fairfield.
Duhamel Remembrance Mass Brings Together Students in Mourning
Over 400 students, faculty and administrators gathered at Egan Chapel for a mass in remembrance of sophomore Kristen Duhamel who died Saturday morning. The mass took place Saturday afternoon following Duhamel's death which was a result of injuries from a car accident.
University Community Mourns Student Death
The Fairfield University community mourns the death of Kristen M. Duhamel, '10, who passed away early this morning as a result of injuries sustained as a passenger in a car accident on the Merritt Parkway in Connecticut. Kristen, 19, was a native of Charlestown, RI.

Last year, the University of Georgia cross-referenced a local sex offender list with its student body and found matches. Those who were convicted denied their criminal history on their applications and, with little background check, were accepted into the university.
