Burning Questions is back again this week, and after an excellent interview with Patti Covino, I decided to put one of my peers on the hot seat.’ Our subject this week is Justin Smith, vice president of the class council for the class of 2010.’ He took time out of his very busy schedule to hold an interview with The Mirror.

The Mirror: How did you first get involved in FUSA?
Justin Smith: Well, basically Tim Rich ’08 yelled at me until I got involved in Senate.

TM: If you could change one thing about Fairfield, what would it be?
JS: One thing? I would make Drew Garland a more prevalent face on campus. (Laughs)’ But seriously, it would be nice to be listened to by all administrators.’

TM: How is it working with Class of 2010 President Brendan Monahan?
JS: He can be a bit intimidating and violent, but his striking good looks and terrific personality make FUSA worthwhile.’

TM:’ What do you guys have planned for the rest of the year?
JS: Right now, we are collaborating with companies outside of the University in order to double our budget. We have some great ideas in their preliminary stages, and we are always open to ideas.

TM: In your opinion, which is the best Rocky movie?
JS:’ Wow, I’d have to say ‘Rocky 3,’ Rocky fights Hulk Hogan. Best fight ever.

TM:’ Interesting. Do you prefer apple pie or peach cobbler?
JS:’ Apple pie, peach is the worst.’ Also, Peach is a character in Mario.’

TM:’ This is true.’ Who is your favorite professional wrestler of all time?
JS: Of all time?’ I loved Bam Bam Bigelow, Yokozuna, and Rey Mysterio is an underrated athlete, but X-Pac is legendary.’

TM: Justin, thanks for your time.’ Finally, who is your favorite reporter on The Mirror?
JS:’ Chris Simmons, Tom Cleary, Veronica Florentino, Joe Carretta, Meghan Schelziand Drew Garland has no talent. Although, he could bench-press my house if interested.’
