Fairfield has recently been included in the frozen yogurt trend with the opening of Pinkberry at the beginning of the school year. Just five years ago, Pinkberry originated in Los Angeles and New York and has grown tremendously in a short amount of time.

The menu includes frozen yogurt flavors such as Original, Pomegranate, Chocolate, Mango, Coconut and Green Tea frozen yogurts, along with a featured flavor of the month. This month’s flavor is Blood Orange.

Customers can then have the remainder of their cup filled with some of the many toppings offered. Toppings include: fresh fruit; dry toppings, such as granola, yogurt chips and dark chocolate crisps; and liquid toppings like honey and caramel syrups.

Pinkberry also sells smoothies, parfaits, and fruit bowls. There is an option to choose Mixed Berry, Green Tea, or any custom design smoothie. Parfaits consist of three layers of fruit of the customers’ choice, surrounded by all natural honey almond granola and Original yogurt. Fruit bowls are made to order and are topped with their signature Swirly Whip Topping. Pinkberry can be served in a cup or cone or taken home in a larger container to enjoy later.

The yogurt is healthy, ranging from 100-140 calories per serving. The sizes include Mini, 0.9 servings, Small, 1.5 servings, Medium, 2.3 servings, and Large, 3.8 servings.

Pinkberry is located at 1512 Post Road in Fairfield and is moderately priced.
