Flashing lights. Generated screams. Costumed people.

On Halloween night, the Levee was transformed into a miniature dance club, providing a frightfully fun time. Decorated with cobwebs, ghosts and other night-creature paraphernalia, the Levee entertained students with contests, free food and plenty of music.

Surprisingly, the Levee was packed early on in the evening. Most events usually pick up around midnight, but students flocked to the on-campus pizza/bar, spending their entire Halloween there. What made the Levee happening was the Michael Jackson tribute Thriller dance–perfectly executed by the Remixx team–and the numerous events held throughout the night.

Students could win a free t-shirt by participating in apple-bobbing, a dance contest and a costume contest. The bonus of the night was watching people dance in their costumes.

A break-dancing Darth Maul? A grinding banana? Sounds like a good time.
