Fundraising campaign surpassed: $137.9 million raised

Keg Races washed up

Another one bites the dust. There will be no Keg Races this year. Following a lawsuit against the Lantern Point landlords over the Keg Races from last spring, the administration sent a letter home calling for the end of the event. With the Student Beach Residents Association, SBRA, officially pulling its support from the event, the chances for the fall and even spring races look slim.

Peeved about parking passes

Up until recently, $60 was not considered an outrageous price to pay for the freedom provided by having a vehicle on campus. Yet, there have been complaints concerning study abroad students and professors paying the full parking fees. Are students, teachers and staff being taken advantage of, or are we better off than we think? Recent concerns have surfaced surrounding the need for students going abroad for a semester to pay full price for a parking pass.
