FUSA Vice President John Daly ’08 was injured while cleaning up after the Ludacris concert Friday night, according to multiple people who attended the event.
Daly was taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport after he lost his grip and fell off stage while helping unloading equipment, according to his roommate Mark Gajda ’08.
Gajda said Daly sustained internal injuries from the accident, namely to his ribs.
The accident took place during the “breakdown session,” during which FUSA members cleaned up after the concert, said Cristina Pires ’08, director of FUSA Programming.
According to Pires, Daly was conscious and communicating as he left Alumni Hall before being taken to St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
Still recuperating from the accident, Daly said he hopes to return to school at some point next week.
