2 construction projects loom

Two new construction projects are slated to be underway in the next year. A new entrance from North Benson Road will begin in late May. The road will extend straight through the grassy areas in front of Alumni Hall and Barone Campus Center. The existing rotary will be removed and a parking lot will be added for visitors. It is scheduled to be completed in August.

A new 15,000 sq. ft. two-story building and adjoining parking lot was approved by the Board of Trustees and will be designed in the fall. The building will house graduate and undergraduate admissions, financial aid, the University Registrar, the bursar and an adjoining parking lot. It will be built on the hill between Bellarmine Hall and the Dolan School of Business.

The Mirror will take a deeper look at the construction projects in next week’s issue.
