At 12:30 a.m. on Monday, a sprinkler head at the southern end of the floor in Regis Hall was broken off. Water surged into the second floor and seeped down to both the first and the ground floors.

Students living in these areas were asked to relocate for the night while a Pritchard employee repaired the head, and a crew attempted to dry out the water damage done to the floor. At press time, Residence Life had not yet returned calls regarding the cause of the break and the total amount of damages done to the building.
