As the temperature gets lower and the days get shorter, it can only mean one thing: It’s basketball season at Fairfield!
As a proud member of Stags in the Stands, I can say that we as an organization are doing very well.
We have had a great fall, getting record numbers of students to sporting events.
Now, as winter and the basketball season approaches, we could not be more excited. We need all the Stags we can get out there and going crazy, showing off that Stag pride I know you have inside of you.
With both the men’s and women’s teams looking to have great years, you can’t help but get riled up.
I would like to mention this week has been “Stags Unleashed Week” and it has been getting students fired up about the games the upcoming weekend’s games.
Speaking of getting fired up, make sure to come out to the bonfire this Friday at 6 p.m. at Lessing Field before the game, so that we can really get everyone pumped for the big game at 7 p.m.
The student tickets for the men’s game this Friday have already sold out! It’s going to be absolutely amazing to have games back on campus.
Stags in the Stands look forward to increasing its members even more, all are welcome to join! We have meetings every other Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the BCC, our next meeting is this Tuesday Nov. 14 so come on out and join up!
