Letters to the Editor: Mirror editors slacking?

To the Editor:

[Dan McClorey’s He Said, June 23, 2006] could have been written in my four years at Fairfield, but it doesn’t mean it should have. My two cents is that it’s not what you write but how you write it.

I agree 100 percent that Fairfield needs to lighten up, but I also think this is locker room talk and has no place in a newspaper that is supposed to reflect the University. A stupid column like this is hard to defend.

I challenge the editors to think a little harder about what they put in the paper and why before closing issues each week.
