To the Editor:

It is a great honor to have been chosen by you to be the 63rd president of the Fairfield University Student Association. It is a position I accept with a great sense of duty and with the highest of resolve.

I am grateful for the opportunity you have presented to me and promise that I will devote all my efforts to making Fairfield a better place. I understand that I will not be judged by what I say, but rather by what I accomplish for you in my time as president.

I have never been more committed to anything than I am to being a strong voice for you in the matters ahead, and to building a greater sense of pride and unity here at Fairfield. I would like to extend a special thanks to Hutch Williams ’08 and the other senior FUSA members who have served Fairfield well over their careers.

I am grateful for the support and guidance you have always given me. Your influence definitely put me on the path to the FUSA presidency. I am also grateful for the support presidential candidates Spencer Thibodeau ’10, Steven Liguori ’09 and Jacqueline Mylroie ’09 have shown me since the election.

You are all important members of the Fairfield community, and I look forward to working with you over the coming year. I end this letter by pledging to you that I will work hard for you every day and will never let you down. I understand there are challenges ahead, and I will do all I can to make Fairfield into all it can become.

Sincerely, Jeffrey Seiser ’10, FUSA president-elect
