“The attention that came along with, walking on campus it always seems like someone knew you although

you have never met them before, it shows how much people pays attention to the sport and that makes me proud to know that. Another thing that i have enjoyed playing soccer here is the fact that it gave me the opportunity to experience playing in a NCAA Tournament.

I will miss the locker room interactions which became a regular routine. I did not see that as my last game, I rather saw it as the beginning of something much bigger, I have gained a lot playing at Fairfield for the last four years and it has helped me see what I really want to pursue, so to me this is just the beginning so I was and am really excited that day and of what is to come.

We knew the only way for us to make the tournament is to either get a tie or beat Canisius, so that motivated us because we did not want to be the Marist of last year where they hosted the MAAC tournament but were no part of it.
We did not really care who we played we just wanted to get into the tournament because getting in presents a chance to win it again, the main focus is on us as a team if we can play the way we know how to play then it does not matter who we play because we know our better is better than their better.

Whenever you step onto the field it is like stepping into an office, you know it time to get the job done, so your focus is all on getting the right results and every job done well has a reward and our reward is another trip to the MAAC Tournament which we are hosting.

I am not really a person that speaks much after or before games, but what we are knew but just looking at each other after the lost of Friday was, just get in done on Sunday and after the win when I looked at the faces of my teammates, their faces said it all.
This season has meant a lot to me, my presence was felt more on the field, I was able to contribute a couple of points and even though I had higher goals for myself coming into the season I am still proud of what I have been able to accomplish this season and hopefully there is more to come with the the MAAC Tournament coming up. What I am going to take with me is the fact that I belong. I grew up in a soccer oriented country, the only sport that is nationally known in Ghana is soccer which we call football, so everything my family comes to my games they show alot of passion for the game, my mom enjoyed as she always does, my little brother as well, and all friends who constantly come out to watch my games thank you and it has been a pleasure being able to express myself the way i know how to.”
