Aside from the friendly staff, the menu offers everything from burgers and wings to specialty salads and wraps. Another essential aspect that Archie’s offers is the fact that it is open much later than most places around town. Serving until midnight, it is the only real alternative to a diner for late-night snackage. Besides, what’s better when you are stumbling around than a chicken wing? It’s tough to find a person who will deny you when ask, “Want to go to Archie’s?”

If you want to bob for a lobster, drink with your friends or run into a questionable local, The Seagrape is the place to be. If you want a snack that will send you running to the Sound, it is also The Grape. Even the drunkest of kids know to stay away from the stale and greasy shrimp baskets and other questionable bar food. However, the bigger issue is why you’re going to The Grape for food anyway. Go get a drink, bump a few shoulders and talk about how Fairfield used to be with an old-timer; just stay away from the food.

Archie Moore’s offers the best Happy Hour in town and anyone who hasn’t found themselves in line for their complementary chicken wings at 4 p.m. is missing out. Whether you’re sitting at the bar or at a table, the service is quick and the free wings are non-stop for two hours. What could be better? Oh, the fact that everybody goes!
