Oh October – as fall approaches, the weather gets chilly and while us girls are getting excited about shopping for new sweaters, jackets and boots, the boys start getting depressed because they know our tank tops and short skirts are being pushed to the back of our closets until we see the first signs of spring. Don’t fret too much guys – we will still be wearing our micro mini dresses to the bar. After years of waiting in 30 degree weather outside of The Squirrel, Bravo and the Townhouses in tube tops and stilettos, our bodies have adjusted to the drop in temperature. Pain is beauty, and waiting outside of the Grape in next to nothing isn’t so bad after taking a few pre-game shots to warm us up.

Is it true that girls are more interested in settling down than hooking up during the chilly autumn season like Mr. Kenney is suggesting? Or is it that after Powderpuff, every girl was black-out status and would accept any late night hook-up that was readily available? Because we can’t prance around the Point in our bikinis anymore, we need to find the right guy who doesn’t mind snuggling with us in our sweaters.

Maybe it’s the gorgeous New England foliage that makes us want to hibernate with a cutie for the night instead of chugging drinks and making out at the bar. Josh is right, being in a relationship can definitely be aggravating, but it’s nice to know that you’ll always have someone to go home with. So boys, this may be the only time I’ll ever say this, but take the advice of He Said this fall.

It really sucks if you freeze your butt off in that new dress and still go home empty handed. So if girls really do want it more than ever, I say, give it to us. Nothing is better than staying in on a frigid night with a cocktail and a cute guy to keep you warm.
