Sunday-The best and also worst day of the week. To me Sundays are a blessing in disguise, yet the odds of accomplishing anything on the last day of the weekend are so far from reach you might as well sit back and enjoy this day.

There is so much that can be done besides work. I for one never even open a book before 8 p.m. even though I tell everyone that I have been doing work all day.

I remember Sundays from freshman and sophomore year where you spend countless hours in Barone trying to remember exactly what happened the night before. But it’s funny. It never changes. For the first four hours of your day, you reminisce about the scandalous endeavors of the night before.

Sundays are perfect for catching up on sleep and watching around 12 hours of amazing TV. Now, when I say amazing, I mean horrible Lifetime movies that suck you in so it is absolutely impossible to do any schoolwork. It is a day of procrastination and why not utilize it to its maximum potential.

Anyone you talk to will say the same thing-why do work when you can do nothing, or keep the weekend going? Sundays are the perfect day to enjoy a few casual drinks or visit friends who you didn’t get to see all weekend.

And now, as the weather is getting warmer, who wants to be locked inside on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon doing work. Just another reason to have a few drinks and go play outside, ignoring all midterms and finals.

And for some lucky people, Sundays are a continuation of Saturday night because there is no way in hell that you are going to function like a normal human being after killing the keg with your best friends.

Sundays are the days that we will pray to have more of, that’s wont exist once we get out into the real world.

Now, we still have the luxury of sitting around on a Sunday, realizing that it could be feasible to get one more day out of the weekend by accidentally hitting the wrong button on the alarm and missing you class on Monday. Big-time CEOs aren’t going to let that slide.

Sundays are the college kids day. No other collective group of people understands the true meaning of a Sunday afternoon-relaxation, procrastination, and everything in between.
