While the summer weather had a great run into our fall semester, there is no denying that the cold weather has struck Fairfield for good. With seasonal shifts, there are also shifts that need to be made in one's wardrobe. The rules of fall are easy to follow.

While it seems like every girl has been living in her leggings throughout the fall and winter seasons, spring is here, and with each new season, there is a whole new list of fashions. As shown by the major designers, these are some of the major trends for this spring: Spring 2007 is all about the dress! From shirt-dresses to trapeze dresses, all are hot for spring, especially with above-the-knee hemlines.

It's that wonderful time of year again! Everyone is attempting to balance schoolwork along with all the festive holiday parties. Whether it's a party at the beach or office where you intern, finding the proper outfit can become as much of a challenge as how you're going to study for your world history and chemistry final on the same day.

The hardest part about fashion trends is keeping up. One minute your brown peasant skirt is the hottest thing, being seen on the runways of Paris, and the next minute, people think you look homelier than Mary-Kate Olsen. That's why this fall the trends are some of the easiest to master.

St. Jude is a pediatric treatment and research facility in Tennessee. Discoveries made there have changed how the world treats children with cancer and other diseases. On October 11 in the bottom level of the BCC, there will be a letter writing campaign called UP 'TIL DAWN, to help raise money for the hospital.
