LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Police Lieutenant responds to column

To the Editor: Your article by Carleigh Brower, published 11/6/03, "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to..." and it's journalistic license discredits me personally, and compels a response. I have not, but if you wish, I am certain you are entitled to find out who called the police to lodge a complaint about your Halloween / birthday party.

SHE said: When I get that feeling…

One night, you go out with the girls and you stumble across the guy of your dreams. You have a few drinks, he drives you home, and completely respects you by merely giving you a kiss on the cheek. Now I know, ladies, as shocked as you are, you're thinking, "Finally, a guy I can actually bring home to my parents.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Student defends undercover security officers

To the Editor: Last Thursday's article and editorial about security officers going undercover was disgraceful and unprofessional. I think it's very doubtful that anyone even bothered to check the "facts" of the story at all. I also think that Kyle Yasigian failed to fully inform those he was quoting about the real nature of the article and aforementioned "facts.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Townhouse residents are unfairly limited access to buildings

To the Editor: I live in the townhouses and brought the issue of lack of access to the attention of several people in housing after I couldn't get into the apartments after the first week or two of school. SHE said: Cheaters never prosper – or do they?

It's probably gonna happen to you at least once in your lifetime and I'm not talking about fulfilling your fantasy of having a threesome. I'm talking about cheating. Whether you partake in the actual act or if you get to be the one that feels like a idiot because you didn't realize it had been going on for half of your relationship, cheaters suck.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Manhattan College Student Body President speaks out on the challenges of programming

To the Editor: I enjoyed Jen Malcom's column on the 200 Nights program. We have a 200 Nights event at Manhattan College. Though ours is much less fancy and costly than a senior cruise, we too regularly struggle with defining a "true senior" and accommodating all entitled seniors at events both economically and with some manner of entertainment other than alcohol.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: 200 Nights, too few tickets

To the Editor: Students often complain about the apathy present in our school community. Over the past few years, FUSA has tried to bring back the luster associated with many of our traditions such as the Dogwood Dance in the spring, Senior Mug Nights at the Levee, and the Harvest semiformal this fall.
