Professors on primaries:

When Fairfield students can take time out of their busy schedule to sit down and watch or read the news, they hear many different perspectives about the election, but only from news commentators or journalists. In a series of forums and discussions that were held last week concerning Super Tuesday, the University's own faculty and staff spoke about the involvement of faith and female political pundits in the presidential election before the Super Tuesday results were revealed.

Thankfully, the long weekend for President's Day has fallen right after Valentine's Day this year, making going home to "the boyfriend" quite feasible and simple. But then I thought about all my Fairfield women who may be swayed to do naughty things this Thursday night.

The same goes for "Frank," the CD that brought Winehouse to fame in the U.K. over four years ago. Because of a strong fan base in the U.S., Winehouse decided to re-release the album in the United States.

When your footwear flops

When I was an adolescent, the idea came to some no-brain individual that sandals can be worn past the season we call summer. I'm not sure if it was the choking on ocean water, the consumption of oil-free face sunblock or just a serious lack of health knowledge that was responsible.

Editorial: Cheers to Luda, Boos to OCB

Ludacris may be adding 2-0-3 to his list of favorite area codes this year. Students said they are more than content that the famed hip hop artist and actor will be this year's FUSA concert. FUSA's choice reflects a campus-wide desire to take a new direction in concert choices; recent Fairfield concerts have included the likes of O.A.R., Dashboard Confessional and Guster, which can hardly be considered eclectic selections.
