With singles sales trending downward, dance music has turned more to compilations to help sell songs and get music out there even more. Mixed compilations tend to be the more popular, so it stands to reason that when Dave Dresden, of the production team of Gabriel ' Dresden, wanted to get involved in actual CDs, he would make a compilation.

A WORD OF ADVICE… on embarrassment

We took pictures for the yearbook recently and I got my proofs back – one is definitely not a picture I'd consider flattering. A friend of mine, who I showed it to while expressing my disgust, thought it was so bad it was funny, and he wanted to scan a copy of it before I had to return my proof. How should I tell him I don't want to give it to him, without creating any wars?

Financial aid doesn’t keep up with the bills

Every year as the cost of tuition at Fairfield gets higher, financial aid struggles to keep up. Coupled with a poor economy, students say that paying for tuition, fees and room and board is getting harder. The problem is not restricted to Fairfield, whose costs went up 7.2 percent this year alone.
