1. Will men’s lacrosse rebound for a win against Yale?

Chris Simmons: Hopefully, although the team lost the last time it played a bulldog.

Rob Fitzgerald: Do they play on campus?

Tom Cleary: They were impressive against the Hoyas, but they are still inconsistent. We’ll see.

2. Is baseball’s strong MAAC start a sign of things to come?

Chris Simmons: I’m just hoping that the Eric San Georges of co-ed ‘A’ softball can rebound from its slow start.

Rob Fitzgerald: Do they play on campus?

Tom Cleary: The baseball team has some talent, despite what many people think. The MAAC isn’t a great conference either, so I say it will finish top four.

3. Two-sport toss up: Soccer or baseball?

Chris Simmons: I like both sports, but I grew up on baseball. Plus, I’d rather be good with my hands than my feet.

Rob Fitzgerald: I’ll take the sport in which Mo Vaughn can be called an “athlete” any day.

Tom Cleary: As good as the Fairfield soccer team is, baseball is much more fun to watch.

4. NHL playoff pick: Rangers or Devils?

Chris Simmons: Who cares? It’s hockey.

Rob Fitzgerald: The Washington Capitals, after moving up six seeds with one win, have all the momentum anyway.

Tom Cleary: Rangers all the way. Too bad the Ak Attack isn’t here, he would have 1,500 words to say about why they will win.

5. If it was my choice, the commencement speaker would be …

Chris Simmons: R. Kelly. The first name that came to my mind.

Rob Fitzgerald: Stephon Marbury, speaking on how to both be a humanitarian and a hated thug at the same time.

Tom Cleary: Terry Francona, he seems like a cool guy and is a real winner.
