Two $3,000 digital projectors stolen

In the past few months two audio/video projectors have been stolen from the School of Nursing and Canisius.

According to Media Center Supervisor Kirk Anderson, one was taken from Canisius over winter break, and the other was taken from a classroom in the School of Nursing sometime in the past few weeks.

Each of the LCD projectors costs about $2,500 to $3,000 depending on the exact model, Anderson said.

In the past four or five years only a handful of these projectors have been stolen, mostly from the School of Business.

According to Anderson, all of the projectors are secured with special locks that require security hardware that cannot just be purchased anywhere.
