Seven straight for surging Stags

One of the reasons for the women's lacrosse team's hot start is the play of defensive stalwart Caroline Madrak '08, but it is hard to tell by looking at the stat sheet. After losing its first game, the women's lacrosse team has rattled off seven consecutive wins.

Fairfield’s ‘other’ baseball team

You may not have heard about them because they are rarely on an actual baseball diamond, but the club baseball team truly exemplifies what it means to play for the love of the game. "A lot of kids want to play baseball while still being a full-time student," said Dan Rogan '08.

HE said: Grab a beer, spring is here

You know that sunny, late February/early March day when it's 40 degrees out, but it feels warmer because our bodies have gotten used to the winter air? That's when I know that spring is almost here. HE said: Smile, Spring Breaker! You’re on Facebook

The week that we'd all been waiting for finally happened. I wish I had a crafty name for it like they do for every week of the college basketball season, but Bikini Week doesn't have the same ring to it as Championship Week, Rivalry Week or Student Spirit Week.

HE said: What happens on Spring Break stays on Spring Break

You'd have to blind to not have noticed the inordinate amount of haircuts that the fine, young gentlemen of this university have gotten in the past week. Those are the same men that have been crowding the gym for the better part of the last month. They hope that these last-minute appearance enhancers will increase their chances of getting laid on Spring Break, but I don't know what they are so concerned about.
