I don't understand why they would need to [check StagCards] considering we have parking stickers blatantly on the front of the cars that prove we go to Fairfield, said Caroline Quinn '09. It's fine, Fairfield. Tell us how you really feel. According to last week's edition of The Mirror, many students said they were peeved about a new security policy involving more rigorous StagCard checks at the main entrance of campus.

A farewell to Hutch

Not only will newly elected FUSA President Jeff Seiser '10 have some big shoes to fill, he'll also have a red wig and some face paint he'll have to live up to as well. The biggest Stag super-fan is beginning his last stretch of college, and the Fairfield community will soon be saying goodbye to two-time FUSA President Hutch Williams '08.

Thursday, Feb. 28 A Fairfield employee received an anonymous letter that threatened to kill her if she didn't give the writer $10,000. The police were notified, and nothing else has happened in this case. 3:40 p.m. A professor called Public Safety because he found a student sleeping in a classroom.

When seniors Sabra Wrice, Stephanie Cziria and Meka Werts walked off the court, their eyes welled. Their teammates embraced them and the game clock expired for perhaps the last time in their careers. The women's basketball team suffered a heartbreaking loss in the semifinals of the MAAC Tournament.
